Community Impact
At BRP, we believe that real estate should always consider the community it serves—and keep them front and center.
Since our inception, we’ve delivered on this mission by developing properties that prioritize the people who live, work, and use these buildings every day. That means successfully engaging in complex, large scale public-private partnerships. Designing and building sustainable structures to create a cleaner environment. Constructing housing that includes retail spaces for easier access to grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, and other indispensable services. Planning mixed-use projects with facilities that support causes like education and healthcare.
Across all our initiatives, we put real estate to work—using it to empower local populations and improve neighborhoods everywhere.

Shaping the Community
Urban Harvest, East New York
Urban Harvest at Ujima, East New York Brooklyn, is a tuition-free, educational, urban farm and community resource operated by Slow Food NYC during the summer growing season. The Urban Harvest program provides comprehensive educational activities during which 120 student farmers spend a week of structured four to five hour days on the farm. Since 2014, BRP Companies has donated land and classroom space to Urban Harvest to expand its capacity to help neighborhood children gain an understanding of clean and fair food, and how it affects them, their families, their communities, and the planet.
