In 2017, BRP Companies was awarded the New York State Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) Developer of the Year Award.

The National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) NY Tristate Diversity Award is bestowed to both public/private sector construction industry partners that have demonstrated innovative and creative strategies to remove barriers for under-represented groups; that support women, the disadvantaged and small businesses and allowed for increased public and private construction contract opportunities.

The National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) is one of the oldest minority construction trade associations in the United States of America, with over 50 Hall of Fame members and Legacy Builders and an annual project capacity of over one billion dollars nationally. Founded in Oakland, California in 1969 by Raymond Dones and Joseph Debro, established a great legacy for the organization. NAMC’s presence and voice in this industry is of even greater need today than ever before to continue the mission of providing Access (contract & resource opportunities), Advocacy (legislative impact), and Contractor Readiness (training, capacity building, and growth) for our members.
